Complete serenity…. after a heavy tussle with the waves of the sea, these boats finally rest cosily in serenity of the coast
Placidity: A Coastal Idyll
Upon the shore, where mud-stained banks now hold, A painted pause, a story to unfold. Placidity, the moment’s name is cast, Where weary souls find haven from the past.
The boats, once dancers on the ocean’s breast, With sails a-flutter, put their might to test. They bore the heavy tussle of the tide, Where salt-laced spray met courage deep inside. Each sturdy hull, now gently rocked to sleep, Has secrets from the rolling, savage deep. Their flags, like sun-kissed banners, hang so still, Reflecting rest upon the coastal hill.
Below, the tires—black anchors on the ground— And coils of rope lie patiently unbound. They speak of labor done, of nets hauled in, A quiet peace where busy days begin, Or, as in this sweet twilight, gently end.
Here, in the serenity of the coast, they lie, Beneath the gaze of an unhurried sky. They rest not just from waves, but from the fear, Now nestled cozily, the harbor near. A canvas painted in the hues of ease, A deep-breathed sigh upon the sea-blown breeze.
